Treatment​
Before the session begins we will have a brief conversation with you to discuss any concerns or requests. It is important you feel comfortable and relaxed during your reiki treatment, so I would advise you to wear loose fitting clothes. You will remain fully clothed during the treatment. During the session, I will place my hands above or lightly over several areas of the body and commence the flow of Reiki. Most reiki sessions last for approximately 1 hour although your first appointment may take longer.​
How does Reiki feel?
For most people a Reiki treatment provides a deeply relaxing, almost meditative experience. People often describe a release of stress or anxiety and a general sense of wellbeing. Any questions you may have about the treatment can be discussed with you in advance.
Reiki will always meet you where you are at that moment and will move you that that place closer to your unique place of balance.
What to do after your Reiki treatment?
After your Reiki session, it is very likely that your body will detoxify, and you might find that you have to visit the bathroom more frequently. To aid this process, it is therefore important that you continue to drink lots of water over the following few days and if you feel like it, take in more rest and relaxation.
How many sessions will I need?​
The number of Reiki sessions needed can vary depending on individual needs and goals. Some people may experience benefits from just one session, while others may benefit from a series of sessions for ongoing support and maintenance. Ultimately, the number of sessions needed will depend on your unique circumstances and how you respond to the treatment. Generally between 3-5 Reiki sessions are recommended for a real breakthrough in healing and overall wellbeing.
