FAQ,S

What should I expect from my first appointment?
The therapist will review and discuss your Health History Form and your needs/goals for therapy. Your current pain level, past injuries, accidents, surgeries and traumas throughout your life, these are all clues to your fascial restrictions. Medicupping is performed directly on the skin by either static or moving cups on a massage table. Any questions or concerns can also be addressed during and after the session.

How long will it take before I start to notice a difference?
Every individual responds differently based on factors such as the duration and severity of medical history, current lifestyle, motivation levels, frequency/consistency of visits. So there is no "one size fits all" answer. For some even just one session can impart a lifetime of changes, though most feel improvement within the first few treatments. Even one session is better than none! There is no protocol that must be followed, and you are free to decide what works best for you.

What are the benefits of MediCupping?
It can help release chronic muscular tension and pain, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility, reduce mental and physical fatigue and stress, promote faster healing of injured muscular tissue, improve posture, and much more. Pain relief can be quick, and long term injuries can get better within a few treatments.

What should I expect after my MediCupping session?
It's always a good idea to drink plenty of water after a MediCupping session. No hot bath's, shower's, sauna's until the next day. Do not exercise until the next day, as your body needs to recover from the cupping session. I also wouldn't advise you to get any other bodywork for up to 48 hours after treatment.
